Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our maintenance team at our farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to maintain and repair farm equipment, infrastructure, and other metalwork.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Weld, cut, and shape metal parts using various welding techniques
• Repair and maintain farm equipment, vehicles, and machinery
• Fabricate new metal components as needed
• Inspect and test welded joints for quality and safety
• Follow safety protocols and best practices in welding
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in a farm or agricultural setting
• Certification in welding or equivalent training will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety procedures
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is desirable
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in various environments
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
