As a letting officer and valuations assistant, your role involves a variety of tasks to keep the valuations and property management department running smoothly
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Property Management;
ο Getting property management mandates,
ο Vetting and selecting tenants,
ο Negotiating management mandates from landlords and marketing their properties.
ο Negotiating rentals,
ο Property inspections,
ο Monitoring property repairs,
ο Representation at Rent Board,
ο Ensuring all levies, rates, electricity and insurance are paid,
ο Handing over bad tenants for debt collection,
ο Recruitment and selection of caretakers and security personnel.
ο Update letting property listings,
ο Perform real estate market analysis.
2. Preparation of valuations;
ο Getting valuations instructions,
ο Property inspections,
ο Deeds Searches,
ο Surveyor General Office searches,
ο Town Planning Searches,
ο Property diagram sketches,
ο Valuation comparisons,
ο Valuation Report preparations,
ο Assist the sales team with property pricing and inspections.
Qualifications and Experience
ο Degree or diploma in Real Estate.
ο Proven experience in property valuations and/or property management a must.
ο Experience in property sales will be an added advantage.
ο Class 4 driverβs license
