Terms of Reference – Medical Aid Broker

Job Description

CeSHHAR Zimbabwe is seeking a medical aid broker to facilitate the following activities;

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Negotiating rates, terms of engagement such as Service Level Agreements with the service provider
2. Routine benchmarking of medical aid services to ensure value for money
3. Administration of CeSHHAR’ s medical aid facility which includes but is not limited to:
• Reconciling the account on a monthly basis and ensuring the CeSHHAR census ties in with the service provider bill.
• Facilitating membership changes e.g additions and terminations
• Ensuring timely delivery of membership cards for members
• Liasing with medical service providers on behalf of staff to ensure access to affordable services.

Qualifications and Experience

Activities and Weights
Clearly articulated value proposition of the services on offer and measures of success. - 50%
Proven track record of providing similar services with reputable organization. - 15%
Proven experience working with medical aid service providers in Zimbabwe. - 15%
Trade references from current customers of a successful relationship. Evidence of successful relationships with other NGOs is a distinct advantage. - 20%
