Technician (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
• The full-time technical support for the department.
• Responsible for manufacturing, modifying and repairing components and equipment for research.
• Assisting with design and material selection as required. • Support the practical teaching of undergraduates.
• Contribute to the Department’s outreach events.
• Demonstrating and teaching practical engineering skills to undergraduate students.
• Sourcing research funding for the department.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and experience
• Applicants must possess an HND in Mechanical /Production Engineering and a skilled worker Class 1 certificated.
• A Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology Honours degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering will be an added advantage.
