On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Technical Sales Officer responsible for driving the growth of the company’s electrical engineering project sales and supply business. This will be achieved by generating new business opportunities, with a strong focus on acquiring new clients and maximizing existing opportunities. The position involves training, skill development, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of various electrical engineering applications and integration processes, including power, automation, and solar systems. It also includes exposure to business development and sales strategies. This role requires significant interaction with client whether face-to-face, via video conferencing, or over the phone and will involve travel as necessary.
• Establish and maintain key customer and partner relations and implement business development strategies for market expansion
• Provide application integration and engineering support with the goal of providing the latest technology updates and troubleshooting to meet the customers’ needs
• Work with different departments internally and external third parties to identify growth opportunities.
• Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting, and compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, focusing on long-term success and client satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, handling requests, issues, and technical questions with a customer-first approach.
• Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess their satisfaction and usage of their product/solution, identifying areas to improve or expand service.

• At least 2 years’ experience in sales / business development role in engineering an added advantage
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Engineering / Business Management / Sales / Marketing or similar
• Additional Certifications in Renewable Energy areas will be an added advantage.
• A clean class 4 driver’s licence a must.
