As a Technical Sales professional specializing in accounting software, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling our company's accounting software solutions to businesses. Your role will involve a deep understanding of both the technical aspects of our softwares and the ability to effectively communicate its value proposition to potential clients.
1) Sales and Revenue Generation: Identify, qualify, and pursue sales opportunities with new and existing clients.
Meet and exceed sales targets through consultative selling, understanding client needs, and matching them to appropriate software solutions.
2) Product Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the technical functionalities and capabilities of the accounting software. Articulate the features, advantages, and benefits of the software to potential clients in a clear and compelling manner.
3) Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business processes, challenges, and goals to effectively position the software as a solution.
4) Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to potential clients.
5) Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, product development, and marketing to develop sales strategies, provide feedback on product enhancements, and contribute to the improvement of sales materials.
6) Market Knowledge and Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
• Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the software industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into business benefits for clients.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven.
• Diploma in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
• Clean Class 4 Driver's license
