Job Description

Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified persons to fill in the following vacancy that has arisen within a Timber Company in Nyanga.

Position: ​Stores Clerk/Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Counts and records inventory/goods upon receipt and dispatch.
Monthly stocks reconciliation
Support the production planning function.
Coordinating timesheet data and accurately record data and compiling reports.
Support the quality processes be actively involved in accurately recording findings/data, compiling reports when required.
Escalate concerns, problems or issues to management for a resolution.
Liaise with other functions such as Accounts, HR or Procurement on any relevant issues.
Assist in carrying out weekly stock checks versus forecasts.
Carrying out checks and balances as and when required.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience
O’ Level passes including Maths
A’ Level passes including Accounts
Professional qualification in Business Administration or related field
Experience in a similar role or administration role
Experience within a Timber processing setting
High level of IT literacy & Excel
High level of accuracy
Excellent communication skills
