Job Description

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience painting and finishing vehicles to their pre-accident condition. Responsibilities include preparing surfaces for painting, mixing and applying paint, achieving consistent color and finish, and ensuring that the finished vehicle meets industry standards. A certificate or diploma in auto body repair or painting is preferred, along with good color matching skills, hand-eye coordination,

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carries out minor and major body repairs and body-rebuilding.
• Carries out chassis straightening
• Prepares vehicles for spray painting
• Prepares paints and matches colors as required
• Spray-paints the vehicle and trailers
• Performs any other duties as and when required
• Records keeping .
• Implementation of procedures relating to health and safety in line with Factories and

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 “O” levels including English, Mathematics and Science •Apprenticeship trained Panel beater and spray painter with 2 years post qualification experience OR Trade tested •Skilled Worker Class 1 Journeyman Certificate in Panel Beating and Spray-painting with 2 years post qualification experience.
•National Craft Certificate in Panel Beating and Spray Painting
•Trade tested Skilled Worker Class 1 Panel Beater & Spray Painter
