Our client who has been offering Clean borehole water systems, renewable energy systems and convectional electricity for more than 7years is seeking for a mature competent and experienced solar technician to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct detailed site assessments to determine optimal solar PV system design and borehole placement
Install solar panels, inverters, wiring, and other electrical components according to industry best practices
Collaborate with borehole drilling team to coordinate the installation of pumps, piping, and other water infrastructure
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on both solar PV systems and borehole equipment
Identify and resolve any technical issues or malfunctions in a timely and cost-effective manner
Maintain comprehensive records of all installation, maintenance, and repair activities
Assist with the training and supervision of junior solar technicians and
Ensure strict adherence to all applicable safety regulations and environmental guideline
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering,Renewable Energy,Class 1 Journey man-or related field.
3+ years of experience as a solar technician or electrician.
Strong knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, batteries, charge controllers,and inverters.
Familiarity with borehole drilling equipment and installations is preferred
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
Valid Class 2 driver's license
Knowledge of irrigation systems is an added advantage
