The duties and responsibilities of the post include:
• Preparation of practical for students and assisting the Department in research innovation and industrializations.
• Maintaining departmental equipment.
• Taking inventory of Departmental assets.
• Enforcing Health and Safety as prescribed in COSHH.
• General housekeeping of the Departmental buildings and fittings ecosystem.
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of the Department.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate must atleast have:
• A Higher National Diploma in Biological Technology (HND) or BSc. Honours Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences and City and Guilds Il and III.
• Familiarity with electron microscopy procedures and both human gross and Histology laboratories would be an added advantage.
• Relevant post qualification experience.
