A local NGO is inviting suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the above-mentioned position.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, managing and monitoring of projects, preparing project reports and ensuring compliance with all funding requirements. In particular, the candidate will:
• Maintain positive contact between the organization and project partners, funders and other stakeholders.
• Prepare consolidated high-quality project reports for internal and external stakeholders in collaboration with project teams.
• Carry out field visits to project sites.
• Assess results, short term and long-term impact.
• Support collaborating, learning, and adapting efforts by compiling evidence highlighting areas of progress and those that need improvement.
• Facilitate periodic performance review sessions for purposes of knowledge sharing, learning and encouraging team members.
• Cultivate and maintain positive contact between the organization, staff and project partners, funders and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Constitutional Law from a reputable university
• Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees
• Background in taking constitutional law cases
• At least ten years’ high-level administrative experience
• Knowledge of and experience in networking with civil society organizations
• Experience in working with Parliament, parliamentary staff and parliamentarians
• Impeccable references from Directors of previous employers including the last employer

• Team player
• Knowledge of institutional donor grant policies, procedures, project management, and reporting requirements. Experience with USAID grants would be an advantage.
• High level of proficiency in excel and power point.
Note the candidate will be put through tests during interview, to assess his/her analytic ability, writing skills, etc.
