Champion Farmers Seeds Cooperative Company Limited is a member-owned agricultural cooperative dedicated to producing, processing, and distributing high-quality seeds to improve agricultural productivity and food security. Job Purpose
The Seed Expert (CEO) will provide strategic leadership and overall management of the cooperative, ensuring operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and growth while upholding cooperative values and serving member interests.

Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities (Terms of Reference – ToRs)
1. Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement the cooperative’s strategic plan in line with Board directives
• Provide vision and leadership to achieve long-term growth and sustainability
• Identify new market opportunities and partnerships
2. Operational Management
• Oversee daily operations of seed production, processing, and distribution
• Ensure compliance with national seed regulations and standards
• Improve efficiency, quality control, and productivity across all operations
3. Financial Management
• Prepare and manage annual budgets and financial plans
• Ensure financial discipline, transparency, and accountability
• Mobilize resources, including grants, loans, and investments
4. Governance & Reporting
• Work closely with the Board of Directors
• Provide regular operational and financial reports
• Ensure compliance with cooperative policies, and regulations
5. Stakeholder Engagement
• Build strong relationships with cooperative members, farmers, regulators, and partners
• Represent the cooperative in national and international forums
• Promote member participation and satisfaction
6. Human Resource Management
• Lead, motivate, and manage staff
• Develop organizational capacity and performance systems
• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
7. Marketing & Business Development
• Develop marketing strategies for seed products
• Strengthen distribution channels
• Promote brand visibility and competitiveness

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• At least 7–10 years’ senior management experience, preferably in agriculture or seed industry
• Strong knowledge of cooperative principles and governance
• Proven leadership, financial management, and strategic planning skills
• Experience in seed production systems and regulations is an added advantage
