SCHOOL REGISTRAR

Job Description

Claremont Business School, a growing business school with local and international strategic partnerships, is looking for a vibrant and tech savvy Registrar to take charge of the school's Records, Examinations and Library portfolios. Supported by a small team, the Registrar will be responsible for making sure that the school information is manages well.

Duties and Responsibilities

Registrar responsibilities include:
• Organizing and administering student records
• Overseeing the student admissions and graduation process
• Ensuring records are updated with new grades, attendance and finances
• Entering detailed student data into computer systems
• Performing clerical tasks, such as printing academic transcripts for students
• Keeping student information confidential and secure
• Participating in student service committees and initiatives
• Overseeing the operations of the school library
• Managing the calendar of the Director of Learning
• Managing relationships with key stakeholders like universities and professional bodies

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements and skills
• A Commercial Degree is a prerequisite
• Proven work experience in an administration role
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong computer literacy with database familiarity
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
