Sales Representative

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position will be to represent the company’s products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers. S/he must be able to generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain good working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities.
• Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories.
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
• Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
• Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities.
• Providing timely and accurate forecasts.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Monthly and quarterly reports on accounts and transactions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Sales/ Marketing.
• Clean class 4 Driver’s license
• Proven work experience as a sales representative.
• Three or more years of sales experience in the ICT sector.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
• Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of sales metrics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to develop and produce reports.
• Ability to plan and execute events.
