Golden Knot Financial Holdings seeks to recruit Sales Officers with solid insurance or microfinance background to grow our client base, maintain strong customer relationships and drive contributions growth. The successful candidates will be responsible for prospecting, advising clients on suitable loans, cash savings plan, funeral, medical , legal aid packages, and closing new business while ensuring ongoing members satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Identify, prospect, secure new business and meet targets.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
• Generate leads through referrals, networking, events and digital channels.
• Understand client demographics and target markets assigned by the organization.
• Explain different insurance products in simple terms, benefits, exclusions, premiums and claims process.
• Convert leads into policyholders and meet monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Conduct needs analysis and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Maintain and grow on existing client portfolio.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Build long-term relationships to reduce lapses and increase referrals
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals and policy documents.
• Follow up on policy issuance, payment schedules and delivery.
• Submit daily, weekly sales reports, pipeline updates and market feedback
• Provide after sales service and ongoing member support.
• Maintain accurate member records and sales reports.
• Report competitor activity, market feedback, and pricing concerns to management.
• Attend seminars, exhibitions and community events to build brand presence.
• Handle client queries, complaints and service requests in a timely manner
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing in Insurance and Risk Management or related field
• Candidate must possess at least COP
• 3 years of Sales experience proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Experience in the Insurance or health- related or service experience
• Strong personality, goal oriented
• Excellent communication, negotiation, sales and marketing skills
• Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
