Duties and Responsibilities

• To receive customers and define the customer concerns
• Prepare, organize and manage customer quotes and contracts
• Make follow-ups on status of products ordered, ensure correct information is disseminated
• Maintain concise records of all payments made by customers on product range
• Compile and type quotations for customers enquiring about stock and quotations.
• Generate a tax and receipt of payment invoices for the customer and keep copies of these documents for purposes such as auditing, customer fall back, e.t.c.
• Ensure that receiving procedures are adhered to by insisting on the prescribed documents on every received implement
• Create and maintain a database of all clients and suppliers.
• Assist in organizing sales events, trade shows and conferences
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
• Aware of the tendering process on govt. portals.
• Prepares reports for decision making

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Sales and Marketing
• At least 5 years of experience in sales and marketing of agricultural implements and equipment’s.
• Must be well knowledgeable in both animal drawn, and tractor drawn agricultural implements.
• Good and fluent communication skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Good customer relationship management skills
