Zimbabwe School of Mines is soliciting for bids from reputable companies, registered with Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe to satisfy the following procurement requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities

ZSM 071. Fuel tracking system for all ZSM cars. NB.Samples required upon submission.

ZSM 072. Hearing protector with a glass with visor (Qty - 10); Harnes Belts for brush cutters (Qty - 10); T 45 Plastic Heads (Qty - 20); Trimmer Liner 240mx3.0mm (Qty - 20); 1litre Stroke oil (Qty -20).

ZSM 073. Service and Repair of Brush Cutters (Qty - 6).

ZSM 074. 20 litre Glyphosate (Qty - 2).

ZSM 075. Pick heads (Qty - 5); Pick Handler-plastic handles (Qty - 5); Shovels-Build Shovels (Qty – 5).

ZSM 076. Long handle garden shear standard (Qty - 4); Hedge shear standard (Qty - 4).

ZSM 077. 20 litres Gloss enamel white standard (Qty - 2); 20 litres PVA Interior/Exterior standard (Qty - 2); Yellow Oxide Tint 50g standard (Qty - 16); 5l Turpentine standard (Qty - 3); Rolls 48x40mm Masking Tape standard (Qty - 20).

ZSM 078. Complete Set of a cold-room supply and fit with the following measurements (volume) of the room 3.9m x 3.5x 2.7m provide warrant. The unit must undergo 14 days before transactions more will be discussed on site visit day (19 February 2024 at 1000hrs) (Qty - 1)

ZSM 083. Stainless steel bin 20litres (Qty - 1); Bin 100litres (Qty - 1); Vaccum cleaner Hoover 35litres (Qty – 1); Gas cylinder cadac and cooker top 9kg(Qty - 1); Microwave 30 litres (Qty – 1)

ZSM 084. Repair –HP [HP Probook 450 G4, Broken hinge, Damaged screen and cover ] (Qty – 1); [ HP elite book 840 G1(OCP-873), Fan replacement] (Qty – 1); [HP EliteBook 840G1(OCP-872), Broken hinge and USB ports not functioning] (Qty – 1)

ZSM 085. ACQ1331 Tyres Replacement size 315 80R 225 (Qty - 7).

ZSM 086. Re-spray painting to food warmers (Qty - 2); Re-spray plate racks and warmers (Qty - 2)

ZSM 087. Training services for 20 participants on /ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 ISO IEC 17025. Development and implementation. (Qty - 20 participants)

ZSM 088. CAT UTP Cable 500m (Qty - 2); 6 Piece Magnetic Screwdriver set (Qty - 1); Crimping tools (Qty - 2); 8 in 1 adapter with network and port, HDMI, VGA Typac adapter (Qty – 6).

ZSM 089. ZSM is looking for a company that installs solar system to come and do system sizing for that project to kick start. More of what needs to be done will be discussed on site visit day (19 February, 1000hrs). (Qty - 1)

ZSM 090. ABZ8228 Tyres replacement size 7.50R 16 (121/120L) (Qty - 6)

ZSM 091. Supply and fit generator exhaust linking 2 generators 50m on metal piping. Site visit (19 February at 1000hrs)

ZSM 092. Flash sticks C type 2 in 1 (Qty - 40); Furniture cleaner 300ml (Qty - 40).

ZSM 093. Consultant-Board Management induction and training.

ZSM 094. Stick on pads (Qty - 40); Staple pins 26/6 (Qty - 40); Leads pencil clutch 0.5mm (Qty – 4); 1 quire counter books (Qty - 20); Flat files (Qty - 400); A4 envelopes (Qty - 200); Box files Leverach file (Qty - 100); Blue pens (Qty - 200); Black pens (Qty - 200); Highlighters (Qty – 50)

ZSM 095. ZSM is looking for a borehole drilling company with full equipment. The borehole depth is 150m. To come to the school for site visit on the 19th of February at 1000hrs.

ZSM 096. Repairs to doors at D.H back side (Qty - 2); Repairs to doors at the Hostel (Qty - 5); Supply and fit an external door at staff residence with the existing colours (Qty - 1).


ZSM 097. Toggle switches (industrial standard) (Qty - 2); 15A MCB Harman (black industrial) (Qty - 10); Cowrod element 2kw (industrial standard) (Qty - 4); Cowrod element 3kw (industrial standard) (Qty - 1); Oven control switches (industrial standard)(Qty - 4); 3kw 220v contractors (industrial standard) (Qty - 4); 2.5/4mm asbestos wire (industrial standard) (Qty – 30); 2.5 x 8m lugs (standard) (Qty - 20); Sim snitches (industrial standard) (Qty - 8); Insulation tape (high electronic resistance) (Qty - 4); 2kw monarch element (Qty - 7).

ZSM 098. ZSM is looking for a borehole drilling company with full equipment. The borehole depth is 150m. To come to the school for site visit on the 19th of February at 1000hrs (Qty - 1)

Qualifications and Experience

Bidders should satisfy the following requirements:
1. Attach copy of tax clearance.
2. Attach requisite PRAZ documents (Relevant category)
3. Attach certificate of Incorporation
4. Quote in both currencies, ZWL & USD
5. Delivery period should be stated
6. Payment methods should be indicated
7. Bid validity
8. Quotations valid for 30 days
9. Quotations must be vat inclusive.

NB: Failure to submit the above requirement will lead to disqualification

How to Apply

Quotations should be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly indicating the Procurement
