Job Description

BDO Chartered Accountants is part of an international group of firms that operates in over 166 countries around the world. We are currently one of the biggest Audit & Accounting Firms in Zimbabwe. A vacancy has arisen at our Head Office for a Receptionist.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate person or department.
• Manage the reception area and ensure it is clean and organized.
• Schedule appointments and update calendars.
• Handle mail and deliveries and distribute them to the relevant recipients.
• Provide information and assistance to clients and visitors.
• Maintain and update records and databases.
• Perform other clerical and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• At Least 5 'O' Levels including English & Maths plus Receptionist / Administration Diploma
• Proven experience as a Receptionist or in a similar customer service role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and client service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be well groomed
• Flexibility and adaptability.
