Duties and Responsibilities

The Job:
• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans that effectively penetrate the Agribusiness market, expanding the company's reach and increasing revenue.
• Motivating and managing the performance of the sales team through effective training, target-setting, and performance evaluation.
• Collect customer feedback and market research to drive sales grow
• Advise on market information such as changing customer needs, queries, etc.
• Develop and lead the Sales team by providing effective management, coaching, and leadership skills,
fostering team cohesion, and driving consistent sales performance.
• Review and validate new business prospects to maintain high-quality deals, ensuring they meet the
company's standards and strategic goals.
• Establishing synergies in the agribusiness value chain by creating and managing relationships with
stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

The Person:
• A qualification in Agriculture, Marketing, Insurance or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of agriculture with a minimum of 1-year experience working in the agricultural
value chain in the private or public sector.
• Good record of achieving targets.
• Managerial & strong Selling skills.
• Be able to demonstrate self-confidence, maturity, and ability to work independently and
deliver results without close supervision.
• Be able to demonstrate a keen ability to inter-relate with people of diverse backgrounds including
farmers and have a service-oriented disposition.
• Should be an aggressive, effective communicator, team player, sociable, versatile, resourceful,
hardworking, and a self-starter.
• Good presentation & interpersonal skills
