A 250 Sow unit requires the service of a practical hands-on Production Manager.

Candidate should have knowledge and experience on:
• Pig Production
• Artificial Insemination Operation
• On Farm Stockfeed Manufacturing

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
The piggery production operations, the supply of breeding stock to farmers and attending to their queries.

• Managing and supervising workers at the Breeding and Commercial piggery units
• Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual section reports
• Planning, monitoring and evaluating operations in the piggery units and artificial insemination centre to achieve set targets
• Maintaining herd health in the piggery units

Qualifications and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• At least a Diploma in Agriculture
• A degree in Animal Science and/or a piggery qualification will be an added advantage
• 3 or more years relevant working experience
• High computer literacy and good report writing and analytical skills
