The full-time Piggery Attendant roles will be responsible for undertaking animal husbandry and related tasks to assist with the care and well-being of our livestock at our Farm .

Duties and Responsibilities

• Report to and liaise with the Farm Manager regarding completing farm operations, and site works delivery

• Assorted cleaning activities.

• Adhering to all site biosecurity requirements and restrictions.

• Animal husbandry/care and feeding activities.

• Adhere to all APIQ, QA, EMP and WHS requirements.

• Assist with operational aspects of multiple sites including equipment maintenance and production budgets as directed by the Farm Manager.

• Participate in team building and staff training activities and sessions.

• Follow all other protocol associated with on-farm activities.

• Any other duty as directed by the Farm Manager or Anamet Farm Management Team.

• Strong work ethic.

• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.

• Able to follow protocol and direction.

• Work well in a team environment.

• High ethical standards in relation to animal welfare.

• Ability to maintain flexible working hours.

• Be physically fit - labouring required and physically demanding tasks.
• Agricultural on-farm experience.

• 3 years of proven experience in similar role.

At least 5 O levels and a Diploma in Agriculture will be an added advantage
