Nurse Aides / Caregivers – (Multiple Positions)
Belgravia Care Services is a professional home healthcare division of Belgravia Medicals, providing high-quality home nursing support, elderly care, post-hospital recovery services, disability support, and caregiver management across Zimbabwe. As we expand our services, we are inviting dedicated, compassionate, and professional Nurse Aides/Caregivers to join our growing team. Position Summary
The Nurse Aide/Caregiver will provide compassionate, client-centred care to individuals in their homes, hospitals, or other healthcare settings. Successful candidates will deliver high-quality personal care while promoting dignity, comfort, independence, and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide personal hygiene and grooming assistance.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Support clients with feeding and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health and wellbeing.
• Assist with medication reminders (where appropriate).
• Support elderly clients with daily living activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist patients recovering from illness, surgery, or injury.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Complete daily care notes and client reports.
• Follow individual care plans and organisational policies.
• Uphold client confidentiality and professional ethics.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
• Nurse Aide Certificate from a recognised institution.
• Valid Practising Certificate (an added advantage).
• Current First Aid Certificate (an added advantage).
• Basic Caregiving or Home-Based Care training is an added advantage.
Experience
• Previous experience in home-based care, hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, or private caregiving is an advantage.
• Newly qualified Nurse Aides with a passion for caregiving are encouraged to apply.
