Monitoring and Evaluation of Performance Contracting, Administrative Assistant (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in coordinating the process of educating the entire university community about performance contracting.

Assist in facilitating the negotiation of performance contracts ensuring that the negotiated targets, performance indicators, progress assessment approaches and incentive structures are clear, relevant and understood by university staff.

Assist in facilitating the monitoring and review of the performance contracting policies, systems and procedures and recommending appropriate changes.

Assist in designing and developing monitoring and evaluation frameworks for performance contracts, ensuring alignment with the university’s strategic goals.

Assist in preparing comprehensive reports on performance contract performance, including progress against targets, outcomes achieved, and areas for improvement.

Assist in conducting regular reviews and evaluations to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of performance contract implementation.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management / Sociology / Psychology.

A postgraduate qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation will be an added advantage

Demonstrable experience in monitoring and evaluation of performance contracting.

Skills and Competencies

Computer literate with demonstrable ability to use Microsoft Suite and other statistical packages.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of performance contracting principles, practices, and methodologies.

Written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
