Maranatha Christian High Schools are looking for a well-qualified and experienced candidate to fill the position of Matron. Maranatha Christian High Schools are Registered Cambridge and ZIMSEC Centers with Boardings in Harare and Kadoma.
Duties and Responsibilities
ο In charge on Boarding programs, enlighten boarding life for the children.
ο To supervise and appraise boarding and kitchen staff.
ο Ensuring the boarding rooms are kept clean
ο In charge of Boarding School Hygiene, administration of first Aid and referring sick children to the hostel.
ο Counseling of students and solving adolescence boarding minor conflicts before escalating to the immediate supervisors
ο Being a link with the parent community
ο Enforcing the appropriate uniform code for the students.
ο Any other duties given by the Principal/Responsible Authority.
Qualifications and Experience
ο High School teacher training program from a well-recognized institution or
ο A nursing qualification from a well recognized Institution.
ο At least 4 yearsβ experience serving in reputable schools as a Matron with traceable references.
ο Christian based background.
ο Professionalism.
ο Good communication skills.
