Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following vacancies which have arisen within the Zimbabwe Land Commission Secretariat.

Manager Corporate Affairs (D3)

Reporting to: General Manager Legal Services, Corporate Affairs and Protocol

Duties and Responsibilities

Summary of Duties: Provide legal advice to management; manage the drafting of legal documents (contracts, pleadings, legislation and correspondence); liaise with the Office of the Attorney General and other external stakeholders; ensure attendance to court cases; review legislative and regulatory developments; advise on compliance with legal and regulatory requirements; facilitate review of legal agreements; provide legal support to other departments; participate in developing guidelines, policies and procedures; draft affidavits in response to court applications; and any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Required Qualifications, Experience and Attributes: Bachelor of Laws degree; Master's degree in Law or a related field; registration with the Law Society of Zimbabwe. Minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience. Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
