MACHINE OPERATORS- FOOTWEAR (FIXED TERM CONTRACT)
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for:
Tending specific machines for lasting, cutting, closing, and finishing footwear products.
Performing routine maintenance on the machines to ensure optimal performance.
Examining finished products for defects and variations, and reporting faults in machines.
Working with other team members, including supervisors and engineers, to ensure the smooth running of the production process.
Adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Ensuring punctual completion of tasks to meet critical path deadlines

Qualifications and Experience
REQUIREMNTS
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the Footwear/Leather/Canvas industry, in a similar role.
A certificate in the footwear industry would be an added advantage.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in any of the following skills:
Vamping
Eyeleting
Stitching
Binding
Quality Control
Key hand
