Job Overview
As Prodistribution Private Limited, we are seeking a highly motivated and creative Loss Control Officer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Operations Executive, the incumbent will assist with the identification and prevention of company-related losses such as theft, pilferage, fraudulent activities, and to perform any other duties as instructed.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assists in the formulation and preparation of loss control and security risk management policies and initiatives in the organisation.
2. Assists in drawing security work-plans and programs for each department.
3. Constantly monitoring the live videos that come in from the surveillance cameras and ensure that CCTV’s have backup systems and enough storage facilities.
4. Assists in carrying out investigations for all cases involving employees at all levels and handles criminal related cases to the ZRP on time.
5. Assists HR department in conducting security vetting of all prospective employees.
6. Assists in the supervision of the day-to-day work of contracted security companies.
7. Responsible for conducting risk assessment morning and evening on the whole complex.
8. Oversees and coordinates the external security service providers to ensure they are compliant with the Service Legal Agreement.
9. Promotes security and risk control awareness i.e. crime prevention and awareness campaigns.
10. Checks on enforcement of controls in the company.
11. Assist in coordinating the emergency preparedness systems for the Company e.g. fire system.
12. Allocates duties to subordinates (depot security staff) and puts in place a timetable for proper supervision.

Qualifications and Experience

1. A degree or diploma in Security Management/Loss Prevention /Police Studies or equivalent
2. At least 3 Years’ experience in the FMCG sector.
3. Knowledge of Private Sector Security Operations
4. Ability to handle fraud and related investigations & court attendance
5. Ability to handle confidential information and investigations.
6. Ability to handle pressure( Fast-Paced Environment).
