LOGISTICS CLERK
Mutare-based leading manufacturer and distributor in FMCG seeks a qualified and experienced versatile Logistics Clerk to join its Logistics Operations team.
Job Purpose
To coordinate, monitor, and support logistics operations, including dispatch, transportation, and delivery documentation, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Business Development Officer, the successful candidate will, among other duties, be responsible for:
β Coordinating vehicle and truck allocation, handover, and dispatch activities.
β Maintaining accurate fleet allocation, trip, and compliance records.
β Assisting with route planning to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
β Monitoring driver performance, turnaround times, and adherence to SOPs.
β Liaising with vehicle tracking and vehicle workshop team on fleet availability and breakdowns.
β Verifying pre-trip and post-trip inspection reports and escalating defects.
β Compiling and submitting daily, weekly, and monthly logistics and fleet reports.
β Complying with SHEQ, transport regulations, and company procedures.
β Performing any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes
β At least 5 Oβ Levels including Mathematics and English.
β Degree in Transport and Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
β Minimum 2 yearsβ experience in logistics, transport, or distribution within FMCG/manufacturing.
β Proficiency with an ERP system and MS Excel.
β Person of unquestionable integrity.
