Job Description

Zimbabwe School of Mines invites reputable and qualified suppliers of goods and service providers registered with the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ) who wish to be included in the school’s supplier database for the year 2024 under the procurement categories listed below.

Duties and Responsibilities

A. Goods
• Mining equipment, consumables & accessories
• Corporate wear and sportswear
• Computers, printers, photocopiers, networking equipment, cellphones, and accessories
• Electrical products: cables and materials, power backup equipment, standby generators, consumables
• Groceries and provisions
• Household cleaning materials/chemicals
• Motor vehicle spares, pneumatic tyres, and accessories
• Office furniture and equipment
• Plant machinery and equipment
• Protective clothing
• Solar panels and accessories
• Tools and hardware
• Stationary supplies
• Laboratory equipment
• Survey equipment and accessories especially attention to drones
B. Services
• Installation, repair, and maintenance of medical & laboratory equipment
• Construction services and road maintenance
• ICT services (computers, printers, networking installations, cyber security, software & hardware repairs)
• Consultancy
• Marketing and advertising services
• Printing
• Vehicle repairs and maintenance (Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Baic, Renault, Yutong, Yaxing, Mitsubishi, Suzuki)
• Telephone repairs and maintenance
• Refrigeration and air conditioning
• Repairs and maintenance of buildings and equipment
• Plumbing and related jobs
• Firefighting equipment
• Videos and photography
• Hire of tents, outdoor and decorations
• Dry cleaning /laundry services
• Panel beating
• Generator spares and maintenance

Qualifications and Experience

Mandatory requirements
• Proof of PRAZ registration for the relevant category
• Company Profile including type of business, physical address & contact details
• A minimum of three signed and stamped traceable reference letters for each category.
• NSSA registration
• Company registration documents, CR14, CR 6
• Valid Tax Clearance
• Providers of multiple services should not submit applications for more than three categories
• Payment terms, banking details, and preferred method
