SwitzView Wealth Management (Private) Limited is seeking a highly analytical, results-driven and self-motivated
Investment Analyst to support the Corporate Finance Division. The successful candidate will play a critical role in
the appraisal, execution, monitoring and evaluation of investment projects across multiple sectors, including
infrastructure, renewable energy, agriculture, mining, real estate and private equity.
The role combines traditional corporate finance responsibilities with project monitoring and evaluation (M&E),
ensuring that investments are implemented efficiently, project milestones are achieved, risks are identified early,
and expected financial and developmental outcomes are delivered.
The successful candidate will also support transaction advisory assignments, capital raising initiatives, investment
research, financial modelling, due diligence, business development and client relationship management.
The role will also serve as the operational coordination anchor for financed and advisory projects after formal
handover from Sales & Business Development (BD), coordinating the full execution lifecycle through implementation, monitoring, completion, repayment and financial close-out, as applicable.
Duties and Responsibilities
OPERATIONS & PROJECT COORDINATION ANCHOR
Own the coordination discipline for project execution after handover from Sales & Business Development, maintaining end-
to-end visibility of milestones, MoM, actions, risks, deliverables and repayments through completion and formal close-out.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. 2. MONITORING & EVALUATION (PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY)
• Develop project monitoring and evaluation frameworks for investment projects.
• Monitor implementation of financed projects against approved work plans, budgets and milestones.
• Conduct regular project site visits and prepare monitoring reports.
• Track financial, operational and developmental performance indicators.
• Review project progress against investment agreements and financing conditions.
• Identify implementation risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Develop project dashboards and performance scorecards.
• Monitor utilisation of project funds and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
• Prepare quarterly and annual project performance reports for management and investors.
• Evaluate project outcomes against agreed performance indicators.
• Monitor Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) compliance where applicable.
• Coordinate with project sponsors, consultants, contractors and financiers during project implementation.
• Maintain an up-to-date project monitoring database.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONS COORDINATION
• Act as the central coordination and anchor point for operational execution of all assigned projects from
formal handover by Sales & BD through implementation, completion, repayment and close-out, as
applicable.
• Ensure each project is taken over through a structured handover covering the approved scope, commercial
terms, financing conditions, responsibilities, key contacts, milestones, risks, documentation status,
outstanding actions and repayment requirements.
• Maintain a consolidated project execution tracker for all active projects, covering milestones, deliverables,
disbursements, conditions, covenants, key dates, risks, dependencies, outstanding actions and repayment
status.

• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including project sponsors, Finance, Legal, Compliance,
technical advisers, consultants, contractors, investors and financiers, to support timely and orderly
execution.
• Coordinate project meetings and maintain accurate minutes of meeting (MoM), action registers and
decision logs, with clear owners, deadlines, dependencies and status for each action.
• Follow up action items and project deliverables to closure, identify execution bottlenecks early and escalate
material delays, unresolved dependencies, covenant issues, funding constraints or repayment risks to
Management.
• Track project documentation, approvals, conditions precedent, drawdowns and disbursements, utilisation,
milestone completion, reporting obligations and repayment schedules to ensure that commitments are
completed in the correct sequence.
• Coordinate project completion and close-out activities, including final deliverables, outstanding actions,
repayment confirmation and archival of the complete project record.
3. CORPORATE FINANCE ADVISORY
• Prepare financial models for investment opportunities.
• Conduct business valuations using recognised valuation methodologies.
• Prepare feasibility studies and bankable business cases.
• Assist in mergers and acquisitions advisory assignments.
• Prepare investment memoranda and investment committee papers.
• Support transaction structuring and execution.
• Participate in capital raising transactions.
• Support debt and equity financing assignments.
• Conduct due diligence on investment opportunities.
• Analyse financial statements and company performance.
• Review legal and commercial documentation relating to transactions.
4. INVESTMENT RESEARCH & ANALYSIS
• Conduct macroeconomic and industry research.
• Analyse investment opportunities across different sectors.
• Prepare sector reports and investment research notes.
• Monitor financial markets and economic developments.
• Develop investment recommendations for management.
• Analyse competitors and industry trends.
• Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses.
5. PROJECT FINANCE
• Support infrastructure financing transactions.
• Assist in renewable energy project finance.
• Evaluate Public-Private Partnership (PPP) opportunities.
• Assess project bankability.
• Develop project finance models.
• Support financial close activities.
6. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & CLIENT SUPPORT
• Participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Prepare proposals and concept notes.
• Assist in preparing pitch books and investor presentations.
• Support preparation of Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and bid documents.
• Assist in developing new investment opportunities.
• Build relationships with investors, financial institutions and development partners.
7. REPORTING
• Prepare weekly pipeline reports.
• Prepare monthly portfolio monitoring reports.
• Prepare quarterly investment performance reports.
• Prepare board papers and management reports.
• Maintain transaction databases and deal trackers.
• Prepare investment committee reports.
8. COMPLIANCE, GOVERNANCE & DATA INTEGRITY
• Ensure compliance with internal investment policies.

• Assist in investment risk assessments.
• Maintain proper documentation for transactions.

9. OTHER DUTIES
• Support strategic initiatives undertaken by the Corporate Finance Division.
• Participate in special projects assigned by Management.
• Mentor interns and graduate trainees where required.
• Undertake any other corporate finance or investment-related responsibilities assigned by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Investments, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Financial
Engineering, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in investment analysis, wealth management, asset management, corporate
finance, or a related area within the financial services sector.
• Demonstrated experience or a strong track record of interest in business development, client relationship
management, or origination activity is highly desirable.
• Sound understanding of the Zimbabwean and regional capital markets, regulatory environment, and investment
landscape.
• Demonstrated project management or project coordination experience across multiple concurrent projects,
including handover, execution tracking, stakeholder coordination and close-out, is highly desirable.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and relevant financial
analysis tools.
• Solid understanding of investment products across money markets, equities, fixed income, alternative
investments, and private markets.
• Working knowledge of portfolio management principles, performance measurement, and risk management
concepts.
• Ability to prepare high-quality investment memos, pitch books, client presentations, and marketing materials.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks governing investment and wealth management
activities in Zimbabwe.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong project management and operations coordination capability, including work planning, milestone and
dependency tracking, stakeholder coordination, issue and risk escalation, documentation control and end-to-
end execution management.
• Strong meeting governance and action management discipline, including timely preparation and maintenance
of MoM, action registers, decision logs, owner and deadline tracking and closure monitoring across multiple concurrent projects.
