The position of ICT Officer has arisen within the National Biotechnology Authority, and we hereby invite applications from suitably qualified individuals.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Upload and install various software applications on user machines and servers.
• System administration (add products and users into e-permit system database)
• Database Administration.
• Assist stakeholders to access and use online permit system.
• Design and maintain systems e.g. Bio-master. Bio-link.
• Design and maintain science expert database.
• Design, upload and maintain information on NBA’s website using different programming languages eg Java,C++.
• Procurement of the I.T software.
• Design of information systems.
Qualifications and Experience
• Information Communication and Technology or Information Systems, or Computer Science Degree from a reputable institution.
• A certificate in Computer Hardware and Networking is an added advantage
• At least 2 years’ working experience in a similar position.
