Position Summary
You will be support in the implementation of people strategy and represent the complete HR Service / Value Chain for the cluster.
A day in the life of an HR Business Partner:
As the successful candidate, a typical day will focus on:
• Participate in the implementation of people strategy that attract, develop and retain employees to support the organisational short- and long-term business needs to drive competitive advantage and address opportunities and threats.
• Provide guidance and support to line managers during the performance appraisal, career development and succession planning ensuring meaningful review meetings in line with the Management Development Cycle and unit succession planning / talent management plans that support business goals.
• Work with line managers to define team and organisational development needs to design and facilitate delivery of solutions.
• Drive employee engagement by maintain effective win – win working relationships with employees and their representatives through an environment that fosters communication and cooperation.
• Providing business support, to ensure delivery of end-to-end HR service; particularly Employee Relations, Employee Wellness and Recruitment & Selection and monitoring of outsourcing of work.
• Ensure compliance to the various statutory legislations applicable to the site as well as internal requirements.
• Contribute to the preparation of HR budget and ensuring control on expense as per budget.
• Provide input and support to team projects and continuous improvement initiatives when required, as identified by Lead HRBP, Centers of Competence or the Business.
What will make you successful
• University degree in Human Resources with Minimum 3 years relevant experience in HR; Diploma in Pension Management will be an advantage.
• Exposure to Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits.
• Experience leading / managing change.
• Experience of working in a Factory environment with exposure to Industrial Relations.
• Experience in pension management will be an added advantage.
• Performance management / people development / coaching experience.
• Personal gravitas and credibility to build strong professional relationships.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong organization and planning skills.
Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Similar with 3 years HRBP experience within FMCG or Manufacturing
