The Centre invites applications from suitably qualified and energetic recent graduates to fill the entry-level position in the Quality Assurance department. The incumbent will support the testing and validation of business systems being implemented within the Centre. The successful candidate will focus on ensuring that applications, workflows and digital platforms are thoroughly tested before deployment. Applicants with exposure to software testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, Jira, TestRail, JMeter or similar platforms will be strongly preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document and track defects through to resolution.
• Validate business workflows and end-to-end user journeys.
• Support automated testing initiatives.
• Prepare testing reports and deployment recommendations.
• Maintain testing documentation and evidence.
• Work with business users and vendors during system implementation
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related discipline.
Preferred Skills
• Software Testing and Quality Assurance
• Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
• Postman API Testing
• Jira or Azure DevOps
• SQL and database testing
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
