Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for overall maintenance and repairs of the mechanical plant and equipment to ensure that plant availability and utilization are met and within budget

Duties and Responsibilities

 Attends to plant installations and maintenance.
 Conducts weekly plant inspection, services and produces the weekly plant performance report.
 Orders spares and other requirements for the workshop by raising internal requisitions.
 Recommends modification to plants and executes them upon approval.
 Investigates all incidences and ensures corrective and preventive action is taken to prevent recurrence.
 Maintains spares and material records.
 Any other related duties as assigned by the Superior

Qualifications and Experience

 5 ‘O’ level subjects including English Language
 National Certificate in Fitting and Turning
 Class 1 Journeyman Trade Test Certificate
 2 years’ experience in plant maintenance
