We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the following position :

Program Summary
FHI 360 is a non-profit human development organization dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways, by advancing integrated,locally driven solutions. Our staff includes experts in Public Health, Nutrition, Environment, Education, Economic Development,Civil Society, Gender, Youth, Research, Technology and more, creating a unique mix of capabilities to address today's interrelated development challenges. FHI 360 serves more than 70 countries as well as all 50 U.S. states and all U.S. territories. FHI 360 Zimbabwe’s portfolio currently comprises various USAID-funded projects that work in different, but complementary thematic areas. Each of these projects is led by a project director/manager, with one of them serving as a Country Representative (CR). The projects are supported by a shared platform that is comprised of staff working in program management, communications, finance,administration, human resources.

Duties and Responsibilities

Position Summary
Working under the supervision of the Logistics and Administrative Officer, the Intern’s primary role will be to support the Finance and Administrative Department with developing a filing system (for both electronic and hard copy files) and ensuring that all transactions are adequately supported.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience
BCom/BTech degree in Accounting, Business Studies, Finance, Economics, or its recognized equivalent. Atleast one year work related experience.A customer-friendly attitude and an ability to cope with work-related stress.Proven proactive skills in identifying cost savings, cost avoidance and efficiency opportunities.Ability to build effective relationships with key internal customers and other stakeholders.Knowledge in pricing, contracts negotiations, conflict resolutions, policies, and
procedures.Good analytical, numerical, and mature problem-solving skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Good team player, positive attitude, flexible mind, comfortable in working in a multicultural setting.Strong sense of ethics, integrity, credibility, and respect for diversity.Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management with diplomacy and firmness.
