Job Description

About

Primarily in co-operation with local partner organisations, our task is to contribute to the improvement in nutritional and income base for the low-income populations in Africa, Asia and Latin America. As part of WFP’s El Nino preparedness response plan, WFP plans to undertake a pre-targeting exercise in Kadoma urban domain. Pre-targeting has proven to shorten response time in emergencies and is part of WFP’s minimum preparedness actions. The pre-targeting is planned to happen between July and August 2024. This process entails beneficiary selection, household targeting and registration into SCOPE working closely with MPSLSW and WFP and the CP is expected to hand-over to WFP verified and validated list of beneficiaries. The domains have been prioritized using the food insecurity and vulnerability indicators from the recent ZIMLAC results. The pre-targeting exercise is carried out in line with WFP’s Corporate Emergency Preparedness Protocols, to mitigate against any implementation delays if funding for CBT transfer programme is secured. Please note that any subsequent CBT transfers in these domains will be subject to funding availability.
