Job Description

This role involves performing an initial count of items, verifying quantities against order or packing lists, checking item conditions, and ensuring all necessary items are included. The Dispatch Assistant organizes and files delivery notes and related documentation, tracks orders, and ensures accuracy throughout the process. Also, they communicate with clients for basic updates or confirmations, always under the supervision of the Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

Help prepare goods for release
Responsible for the initial count, checking items against the order or packing list. They ensure quantities are correct, items are in good condition, and all necessary items are included
Organize and file delivery notes or documentation
Communicate with clients for basic updates or confirmations under supervision
Track items and ensure order accuracy, reporting any issues to the supervisor
Help prepare the paperwork, double-check details, and make sure everything is ready, but the final signature should ideally be from someone with authority to ensure accountability

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Background:
Minimum of Form 4 (O-Level) or Form 6 (A-Level) education.
Candidates with relevant diplomas or degrees in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields are preferred.
Open to candidates who may not have completed high school but have relevant experience or a strong willingness to learn.

Experience:
Previous experience in a warehouse role is a plus, but not required.
