Position: Digital Innovation Trainer

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Digital Innovation Trainer to join our dynamic team. The
ideal candidate should have over 5 years of hands-on experience, possess an eye for design
and functionality, and have the ability to lead quality control processes. Proficiency in
backend development is a significant advantage. This role also involves training students,
contributing to technical communities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality portfolios.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
β Community training sessions with the students.
β Managing job requests from the potential employers.
β Quality control of students profiles to make sure they are of global standard.
β Assisting the DS4Y students by ensuring their portfolios and CVs are up to standard
and competitive in the job market.
β Matching students with tech markets.
β Train junior developers and team members on WordPress best practices and coding
standards.
β Contribute to tech communities through blog posts, open-source projects, webinars,
or workshops.
β Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables while maintaining a high
standard of work.
β Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in front-end and
WordPress development.
Should also be able to:
β Translate design mockups into high-quality code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and
WordPress frameworks.
β Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and custom functionalities.
β Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practice
Qualifications and Experience

β Assessment design
β Creating practical exercises and projects
β Developing training materials and resources
β Soft Skills:
β Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
β Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to
non-technical stakeholders.
β Proven ability to train and mentor team members.
β Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
β Technical Skills:
β Minimum of 5+ years in front-end development, with significant expertise in
WordPress.
β Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap.
β Strong experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) and
WordPress theme/plugin customization.
β Knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., PHP, MySQL) is a plus.
β Experience with debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools.
β Understanding of SEO principles and performance optimization techniques.
β Community Involvement: Evidence of contributing to the tech community (e.g.,
open-source projects, speaking at events, publishing articles, or active participation in
forums).
Preferred Qualifications:
β Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
β Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
