Duties and Responsibilities
Job role
Complies with SHEQ standards as per the SHEQ policy and ISO standards
Undertaking all underground diamond drilling activities in line with the industry standards
Recover Core samples transport and deliver them to surface
Care and maintenance of drill rigs
Booking of daily drilled metres and shift analysis
Derigging, transportation and rigging of drill rigs
Set up, position, and dismantle drilling machinery at drilling sites.
Retrieve, label, and preserve core samples for geological examination.
Inspect, maintain, and perform minor repairs on drilling equipment.
Record drilling data such as depth, rock formations encountered, and sample recovery.
Ensure drilling fluids, rods, bits, and other consumables are used correctly
