Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise research projects for postgraduate and undergraduate students.
Teach the following modules: Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Introduction to
Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Animal Biotechnology.
Supervise research projects for postgraduate and undergraduate students.
Attract and manage research grants.
Participate in outreach activities.
Participate in income generation.
Innovate and facilitate service delivery.
Participate in curriculum development.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
Ideally, the successful candidate should possess a Master’s Degree in Applied
Microbiology and Biotechnology, Biology or related with Merit and a Bachelor of
Science Honours degree in Biological Sciences (Microbiology and Genetics) or related
field with a 2.1 or better.
A PhD in the related field will be an added advantage.
