TechVista Academy is a forward-looking technology training institution focused on equipping students, professionals, and organisations with practical digital skills for the modern workplace. Our programmes cover areas such as Software Engineering, Data Analysis, Programming, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Graphic Design, Social Media Management, Digital Marketing, and other emerging technology fields.
We are looking for dynamic, tech-savvy and creative individuals to join our team as Creative Associates. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology, teaching, content creation, digital learning, and innovation. The Creative Associates will also support Industry Mentors who deliver specialist workshops, bootcamps, and professional training sessions.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Creative Associates will be responsible for:
-Developing short courses, certificate programmes, bootcamps, workshops, and practical training materials in IT and digital skills areas.
-Creating course outlines, lesson plans, lecture notes, presentations, assignments, quizzes, practical projects, and assessment tools.
-Designing engaging digital learning content, including videos, slides, infographics, tutorials, demonstrations, and learner guides.
-Managing and updating the Learning Management System, including uploading content, organising modules, tracking learner progress, and ensuring a smooth student learning experience.
-Delivering online and face-to-face lectures in areas such as Software Engineering, Data Analysis, Programming, Cybersecurity, AI, Graphic -Design, Social Media Management, Digital Marketing, and related fields.
-Supporting Industry Mentors before, during and after workshops, including preparing materials, assisting with learner engagement, coordinating sessions, and following up on deliverables.
-Simplifying complex technical concepts into clear, practical, and engaging learning content for students at different levels.
-Assisting in the development of practical projects, case studies, labs, and simulations that reflect real industry needs.
-Supporting student learning through tutorials, feedback sessions, consultations, and online discussion forums.
-Creating promotional educational content for TechVista Academy’s digital platforms, including short videos, course explainers, social media posts, newsletters, and learning campaigns.
-Working with the academic, marketing, and administration teams to ensure courses are professionally presented, market-relevant, and commercially attractive.
-Keeping up to date with emerging technologies, digital learning tools, and industry trends.
-Performing any other related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Electronic Commerce, or a related field.
• A practical skills-based certification will be an added advantage, such as Google Data Analytics, Google UX Design, Meta Social Media Marketing, Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, AWS, IBM, Adobe, or any relevant professional certification.
• Demonstrable knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas: programming, software development, data analysis, cybersecurity, AI tools, web development, graphic design, social media management, digital marketing, or multimedia content creation.
• Experience in teaching, training, tutoring, facilitation, or course content development will be an added advantage.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems such as Moodle, Canvas, Thinkific, Teachable, Google Classroom, or similar platforms will be an added advantage.
• Good video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar platforms.
