Our organization is looking for an energetic and proactive young person, with excellent customer service skills to join our Sales and Marketing department as a Front Counter Salesperson. The incumbent will be responsible for handling the sales process, from the time of the inception to the execution of the sale. The incumbent should be able to source customers through cold calls, use existing databases and assist customers on the shop floor to find parts that they need while ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
ο Take orders by telephone or counter
ο Understands the market trend
ο Issue orders
ο Should be able to research potential markets.
ο Issues an Invoice
ο Receives Cash
ο Issue receipts
ο Contact clients to obtain missing information and update sales database
ο Maintain and update sales and customer records
ο Communicate important feedback from customers internally
ο Stay up to date with new products and features.
ο Email customers
ο Filing all company correspondences for sales and administration
ο Reconcile at the conclusion of the event
ο Accounts for the cash received from customers
ο Any other sales related communication as instructed by the Supervisor
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
β’ Diploma or Degree in sales and marketing/ qualification in motor mechanics
β’ At least 2 yearsβ experience in sales role
β’ Motor vehicle parts sales experience an added advantage.
