The position is primarily responsible for administering and managing contracts by proactive monitoring, control, and management of all activities necessary to ensure the client’s project is delivered according to project specifications and budget in terms of time and cost, as well as quality, as defined in the contract.
• Financial monitoring and control of the contracts, ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance is maintained, and the Company's procedures and objectives are achieved.
• Planning projects and ensuring they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver the scheme without delays.
• Ensuring a commercial plan and end of life forecast is in place and monitored monthly for the successful commercial delivery of the project.
• Ensuring weekly review of progress, budget resources and forward planning are carried out, and looking ahead of the program in place.
• Chairing and attending internal and external meetings and ensuring the production of accurate records of any discussions and actions.
• Maintaining and managing construction sites and subcontractors, ensuring all subcontractors follow procedures and processes.
• Ensuring timely management of both temporary and permanent design to meet the requirements of each project’s Health, Safety and Environmental expectations.
• A Degree in Quantity Surveying/Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Have at least 5years experience in a similar position.
• Have project management experience.
• Be highly computer literate, being proficient in MS Office.
• Be a good negotiator.
• Have sound written and oral communication skills.
• Have a clean Class 4 drivers’ license.
