Background Information:
Regency Hotels and Leisure Group owns and operates three hotels, farm and security company in Zimbabwe. With almost 40 years in the hospitality industry, the group continues to offer modern, convenient accommodation, business and conferencing facilities for both the leisure and business traveler. Situated in Masvingo and Gweru, Regency Hotels are the perfect gateway to exceptional attractions such as Great Zimbabwe Monuments, Kyle National Park, Lake Mutirikwi, Gonarezhou National Park and Antelope Park.
Regency Hotels is seeking an experienced consultant/firm to support the revision and re- evaluations of our group remuneration structure.
Scope of Work:
The scope of work will cover but not limited to the following;
Provide a detailed guideline on the approach to be adopted to execute the job evaluation exercise.
Provide a sequenced programme of actions, including the necessary preparatory work that
must be completed prior to commencement.
Review the existing job grading methodology and provide adjustments where necessary.
Train selected employees on the selected job evaluation system/methodology.
Evaluate and develop a comprehensive job classification system with balanced and
competitive grading and salary structures for the organization.
Conduct a salary survey benchmarking the overall catering industry.
Make presentations to Management and Staff when required.
Expected Output/Deliverables:
A clear job grading structure supported by best practice and defensible criteria.
An equitable, competitive and defendable salary structure.
Final report to Management including market survey data, grading structure, job grading
methodology and harmonized grading structure for approval and adoption.
Key Competences and Experience:
Relevant experience in Human Resources Management with proven experience of conducting large scale Job Evaluations.
Proven experience of conducting salary and benefits surveys for hotels and groups.
Desirable:
Working knowledge of the Patterson and the Hay Job Evaluation grading system.
Previous experience with other hotel groups.
Proposals should indicate the following:
A technical proposal, detailing how deliverables will be achieved with a clear time frame; showing evidence of the Consultant’s experience in the similar assignments (at least 3 references with contacts or email addresses of referees); copies of similar assignments
(with evidence for good completion of assignments).
Financial offer detailing various costs associated with the delivery of all the deliverables mentioned under bullet 3 above. This must be in PDF format and must be a separate document from the technical offer.
Minimum of 3 certificates of similar work done in the past.
Company profile; VAT Registration Certificate and Tax Clearance Certificate.
