Job Description

A local construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high quality projects across various sectors is looking for a skilled Construction Site Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Construction Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all construction activities and ensuring the successful execution of projects. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual with extensive managerial experience in the construction industry. Duties and Responsibilities

- Oversee and coordinate all construction activities, ensuring proper planning and timely procurement of construction materials.
- Collaborate with site employees to ensure adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
- Manage and provide guidance to site workers a to ensure efficient project execution.
- Analyse and interpret detailed design submissions related to civil and structural works, providing technical guidance and support.
- Conduct routine construction supervision to monitor progress and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Attend site meetings and maintain accurate site records of activities and progress.
- Liaise with engineers and architects to accurately determine project specifications and requirements.
- Communicate effectively with staff at all levels, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the planning and implementation phases of projects.
- Work on construction sites, providing guidance and leadership to project teams.

Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Construction Site Manager in the industry.
- A Degree in Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Construction Management.
- A diploma in Surveying and Geomatics will be an added advantage.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budge.
