Commercial Services Manager (Quantity Surveyor)
Job Description
The purpose of the job is to source contracts and ensure smooth running of projects through quantity surveying, estimation and quality control.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Preparation and finalisation of tender documents, and pricing of tenders.
• Tracking design changes and adjusting projections accordingly.
• Ensuring that the correct contractual positions are established and maintained with clients and consultants.
• Quotations comparisons / analysis and resolution of queries
• Measuring, valuing works, paying Sub – contractors and carrying out general administration of contracts
• Preparing external/Internal valuations.
• Ensuring that the correct contractual positions are established and maintained with clients and consultants.
Qualifications and Experience
• Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Be a member of a professional body.
• Have at least 5years experience in a similar position.
• Be highly computer literate, being proficient in MS Office and appropriate software.
• Have the ability to multi-task.
• Have billing and costing experience.
• Have a clean Class 4 drivers’ license.
