Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Transport goods between Harare and Beira, Mozambique, and other routes as required.
• Ensure timely, safe, and secure delivery of goods to various destinations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance to ensure trucks are in optimal condition.
• Manage cross-border documentation and customs clearance processes.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, trip logs, and cargo deliveries.

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License (Heavy Vehicle License).
• Minimum of 3 years of heavy vehicle driving experience, with preference for cross-border routes.
• Defensive driving certification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with customs clearance processes and cross-border documentation.
• Fluency in Portuguese for communication in Mozambique is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations and truck maintenance.
• Must pass a Health Test Report and Drug Test.
• Clean criminal record and ability to pass a background check.
• Effective communication in English (knowledge of Shona/Ndebele is a plus).
• Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to manage long working hours.
