Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities
• Developing new recipes
• Planning menus and daily specials
• Managing customer relations
• Cleaning the kitchen and kitchen equipment
• Coordinating the purchase of kitchen supplies
• Creating a preparation list for kitchen crew
• Monitoring safety standards
• Estimating food requirements
• Cooking and presenting dishes
• Inventory management
• Quality control
• Food costing

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements
• Creative spark (Ability to serve dishes outside the box)
• Hospitality experience is a must
• At least a certificate or better
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• A variety of culinary skills
• Must have an understanding of pastry and bakery
• Incredible team management skills
• Maths knowledge
• Smart and presentable
• Should be 27 years and above
• At least 2 years experience as a professional kitchen chef
• At least a National Diploma in Culinary Arts or Food and Beverage Management or better
