The Business Development Officer is responsible for leading the overall growth of the company through product procurement ,resource management ,sales development and overall business development.
• Responsible for all aspects of running the business on a daily basis in order to maximize store sales and profitability,
• Revive the business through business development initiatives
• Managing expenses,
• Ensuring that the business is optimally stocked at any given time
• Ensure all customers are provided with excellent customer service.
• Ensure report accuracy and to reduce shrinkage by implementing control measures that reduce stock shrinkage to zero
• Diploma /Degree in Business Management/ Accounting
• Extensive experience in business management
• Vast knowledge and experience in finding funding
• Knowledge and experience to sweat assets to the maximum
• Helpful with a positive attitude towards customers and has managerial experience.
• Committed to good work, takes pride in good work, and can supervise, lead, and motivate others.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Trustworthy ,Hardworking , Accountable and responsible
• Ability to manage demand in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays if need be in order to meet the business needs
• Willingness to relocate and work from any other work stations as assigned by the directors
• Knowledge of an ERP System
• Willing to work on targets and stick to deadlines
• Knowledge on tendering and project management
