What we are looking for:
We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam's mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to our feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do.

An ideal candidate for the role is supposed to have

Experience of working in public communications or on mass-media campaigns and/or in managing SRH programming.
Experience of undertaking high level representation to influence government, donor and agency policy and practice.
Creative and innovative approach – ability to lead thinking on technology choices and development approaches.
Familiarity with Oxfam’s business rules and programme quality processes is an asset.
Sufficient knowledge of Oxfam’s priorities and development and humanitarian programme work an advantage.
Sound knowledge and understanding of global frameworks such as the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women, Beijing Platform of Action, Maputo SRHR Plan of Action and how to operationalise these for women and marginalised groups in Zimbabwe.
Ability to develop programme design documents – including strong appreciation of theories of change (logic models, log-frames), contextual analyses (e.g. power, gender), budgets, MEAL plans.
